LexisNexis law for SQL

LexisNexis  has launched PCLawPlus and PCLawPro Enterprise Version 7.6. PCLawPlus (for small firms) and PCLawPro Enterprise now run on the Microsoft client-server SQL database engine.

Firms running PCLawPlus also benefit from additional productivity features that are normally found in more expensive systems, claims LexisNexis. Features include financial budgeting and timekeeper productivity analysis tools that will help firms easily identify their most productive staff and practice areas.

For most clients, the MS SQL versions of PCLawPlus and PCLawPro will not require a dedicated SQL server. PCLawPro Enterprise and PCLawPlus Clients can use the free Microsoft Data Engine (MSDE) or the more recent SQL Server 2005 Express Edition which is a free, lightweight version of SQL Server 2005.
