Better analytics for better decisions

A law firm, headquartered in Kansas City with offices nationwide, has chosen an e-discovery solution to implement firmwide because of its functionality and ease of use. Lathrop & Gage has licensed Relativity from kCura for in-house use, with hosting and infrastructure provided by Iris Data Services.

Steve Clark, director of litigation support at the law firm, says, “Technology decisions are ultimately about value, and Relativity gives us the toolkit to help our case teams make better, more informed decisions early in a case. We plan to integrate e-mail threading, concept search, clustering and other Relativity Analytics features with our existing review workflows, and we anticipate this will drive a lot of efficiencies and cost savings for our clients.”

According to kCura, Relativity allows users to create and automate workflows, leverage a complete set of text analytics capabilities including e-mail threading and computer-assisted review, and build custom applications within the software to easily manage and search all types of case-related data and information.

Clark says, "Members of our firm have used Relativity for years, and it has always felt easy thanks to a common-sense user interface. Though we support a diverse set of practice groups and clients across the country, our case teams are comfortable and productive with it very quickly. That is a big win for us."
