Interwoven has announced its new Self-Service Solution, which is said to allow organizations to cut support costs by shifting customers and employees to online channels to find information, transact business and resolve issues.

Interwoven further says it will resell iPhrase search and navigation software. Interwoven believes iPhrase technology complements its content management platform—especially the Interwoven MetaTagger "content intelligence" server software--for creating, tagging, managing and deploying enterprise content.

Interwoven explains that the services from MetaTagger software and natural language capabilities from iPhrase enables users to be automatically routed to the proper online application or information that serve themselves without speaking with a CSR. By automatically applying structure to information, sales and support personnel can search and navigate to locate critical information within their existing CRM systems, knowledgebases and support portals that best satisfies the customer's need.
