Adding new layers to UDM

Claiming its Discovery System 3.0 is the first unified solution to power efficient delivery of relevant, high-value information directly to business users, Stratify says its new offering allows content providers and large-scale enterprises to enhance the quality of their information products.

The nstructured data management (UDM) solution combines transparent search, integrated categorization and entity recognition (such as people, locations and organizations) with taxonomy management capabilities, says Stratify. Further, it says, users can now take advantage of the system's analytical capabilities that provide customized reports summarizing business critical information embedded in unstructured data, as well as visual discovery tools for advanced analysis and data mining.

For increased usability, Stratify has added a series of administrative and workflow enhancements to its Taxonomy Manager, the interface used for managing all phases of the taxonomy life-cycle. Stratify explains that other enhancement include:

out-of-the-box enterprise search,

entity extraction capabilities, and

robust information discovery.
