Thinkmap unwraps new server
The back-end support technology for its animated data displays, Thinkmap reports its Application Server Professional Edition gives small to mid-sized businesses and organizations a platform for the real-time retrieval of dynamic information for Internet-based Thinkmap displays.
The company claims the new server gives developers a flexible and scalable architecture to bridge the divide between adaptive user interfaces and their underlying data. The software communicates fluently with data sources, the company says, rapidly gathering information to keep pace with clients. It works with standard Web servers and supports data retrieval from both flat-file and relational databases.
