Talisma buys KnowledgeBase.net

Talisma has acquired Knowledgebase.net. Talisma will incorporate Knowledgebase.net’s technology, intellectual property and customer base into its own operations. For the past 18 months, the two companies have been working closely together on technology, product and business matters, collaboration that has resulted in several new product and service offerings.

Talisma is best known for its CRM software, which integrates chat, e-mail, phone and real-time collaboration into a multichannel interaction management platform with comprehensive analytics and a fully integrated knowledgebase and customer database. The company says the acquisition will further enhance its suite of CRM products and strengthen its position in what it calls the customer interaction management (CIM) segment of the CRM market.

Terms of the deal were not announced.
