Saperion and eManage forge alliance

Saperion and eManage have formed a technology partnership that calls for the integration of eManage’s e-mail and records management within the Saperion Knowledge and eBusiness solutions. The agreement will result in DoD 5015.2-certified records management, e-mail autoclassification, secure access and archiving of corporate records, the companies report.

The integrated solution will automatically capture e-mail from a Microsoft Exchange Server, keep them in the Exchange information Store and automatically classify them into the same corporate file classification structure alongside records stored in Saperion. eManage says that rather than storing the records themselves, it extends its functions to other repositories and eliminates the problems of duplication and migration.

Saperion describes its multi-platform solution as integrated knowledge management and e-business software for capturing, imaging, COLD, digital signatures, eDMS, workflow, storage and archiving. The Saperion product line also includes ICR/OCR, classification, categorization, full-text databases and content and link management.
