Peering into knowledge

Through its acquisition of Peer3’s learning content management unit from Technology Solutions, KnowledgePlanet has introduced a new component of its Human Capital Management suite. KnowledgePlanet Content is designed to enable the creation, delivery and reuse of learning and knowledge objects in support of learning, development and performance management activities. Technology Solutions will retain its Peer3 Change Management Strategy and Services capabilities.

KnowledgePlanet explains its solutions allow enterprises to automate, integrate and streamline human resources activities, including: recruitment and selection; learning and development; performance management; and rewards, compensation and succession planning.

The content modules consist of authoring and assembly tools, an object repository and a delivery engine that are used to create, store, and deliver personalized e-learning content and corporate knowledge in the form of reusable objects. The software conforms to content structuring and course assembly standards including those put forth by the IMS, AICC and SCORM
