Mitek introduces ImageNet Photo and Video

Mitek Systems has unveiled ImageNet Photo and Video, pattern recognition technology that instantly reads, extracts and analyzes data from digital photos and video images.

ImageNet is able to extract data from a variety of media sources, including images taken from camera phones and security cameras, as well from uploaded Web content. Further, Mitek says, the offering can read, extract and analyze data from any captured object such as license plates, street signs or billboards. The technology is optimized for color and ambient lighting conditions, and it compensates for low contrast images.
