MS Word meets content management

Astoria Software has announced an agreement with In.vision Research.

The partnership will allow engineers, technical documentation users and other Word users to author to the Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) standard and participate directly in the product documentation process managed by Astoria On-Demand. The companies report that In.vision simplifies the creation of XML and DITA-based content via Word. DITA simplifies getting started with the schema. And Astoria On-Demand simplifies content management with its SaaS solution.

The In.vision and Astoria collaboration brings native XML and DITA support to Word documents, which can be managed with Astoria On-Demand.
