Lighthouse, Ernst & Young to provide KM guidance at AIIM

Principals of Lighthouse Consulting Group, LLC, along with Senior Partners and Consultants from Ernst & Young, LLP will be manning the KMWorld Knowledge Management Resource Center at the AIIM International Show in Anaheim May 11-14. Attendees will be able to set appointments to meet with these Senior Practitioners and receive independent, objective input from them regarding specific needs or initiatives related to imaging, document management, workflow, knowledge management, data warehousing and data mining.

According to Lighthouse principal Bob Puccinelli, "Our objective at AIIM will be to provide a vendor neutral resource for show attendees to explore their initiatives with an expert and gain some clarity and hopefully direction. At AIIM, as with our other engagements, our goal as practitioners is to help users see through the fog of technology and to realize the benefits of blending people, process and technology to effect their business strategy."

Adds Alex A. Martignago, managing partner and area director, "Lighthouse and Ernst & Young share a common philosophy: The number one thing is to make the client successful by applying the right technologies to the right business processes, to ultimately effect their business strategy. The winning combination of Lighthouse and Ernst & Young in the KM Resource Center should provide significant value to those who take advantage of it."

Lighthouse President Albert Ray Edwards, Jr. sums up the relationship by saying, "We definitely view this as a win-win scenario. Attendees can meet with industry experts and gain some salient knowledge which can help them in their initiatives. Between E&Y and Lighthouse, attendees will have access to a significant repository of knowledge. We hope that they take advantage of it."

Consultants will have areas set up for private "pro-bono" consultation and brainstorming. For available times or to schedule times contact the Lighthouse Consulting Group booth coordinator at the KMWorld booth. Lighthouse and E&Y will also be staffing a more in-depth version of the Resource Center at KMExpo in Chicago October 13-15, 1998 where attendees can register to have half-day mini consulting sessions by appointment.
