Kofax Introduces NT Version of Adrenaline

A Windows NT version of its scanner controller has been introduced by Kofax (Irvine, CA). The KF-4100 Version 3.0, based on Kofax's Adrenaline scanner controller, is designed for

IBM's (Armonk, NY) ImagePlus Workstation Program. The system accelerates an IWPM scanning station to 10,00 pages per hour, supports simple, duplex, SCSI or video interfaces, and includes forms recognition, image cleanup and compression features. Pricing for the KF-4100 Version 3.0 ranges from $1,800 to $8,900, depending on model and quantity ordered. A $1,695 upgrade for current KF-4100 users will be available next month.
