Inxight and Verity settle dispute

Inxight Software and Verity announced today that they have resolved all outstanding claims and lawsuits against each other. While terms of the out-of-court settlement were not disclosed, the resolution will allow each party to continue to serve and support its existing mutual customer base without disruption. The conflict centered on contract and trade-secret issues.

The action commenced against Verity on Oct. 22, 2004, with later counterclaims against Inxight.

In a press release, Ian Bonner, president and CEO of Inxight, said, "We are glad to be able to resolve our differences on mutually agreeable terms. The real beneficiaries of this are our mutual customers, and we are both committed to continue to make those customers successful."

Added Andrew Kanter, company secretary of Verity, "Verity has worked with Inxight for a number of years; we are pleased that we could find a mutually agreeable resolution."
