Interleaf and Microstar Sign XML Partnership
Interleaf (Waltham, MA) and Microstar (Ottawa, Ontario) have signed an agreement to develop products based on XML programming language. The deal will result in the joint development and marketing of Microstar's FastTAG, SGML Hammer and SureStyle SGML products. Microstar will also provide SGML and XML services to Interleaf customers as a reseller of Interleaf's 16 Workgroup Publishing Solution. Concurrently, Interleaf has been appointed as a reseller of Microstar's SGML and XML products and services. The combined product offerings will feature Interleaf's authoring, conversion and formatting tools and Microstar's SGML and XML modeling software and consulting services. Future XML products are also in the works.
