Infodata's new document sharing/management product

Infodata Systems (Fairfax, VA, http://www.infodata.com) has released Virtual File Cabinet (VFC). VFC is a customizable, Web-based system for accessing, organizing and sharing documents.

Infodata is incorporating the Search '97 technology of Verity (Mountain View, CA, http://www.verity.com) in its new software. The company also announced that PC Docs (Burlington, MA, http://www.pcdocs.com) will work with Infodata to VFC-enable its Docs Open. As a VFC-enabled application, Docs Open will allow PC Docs customers to search for and access information in a wide variety of disparate document systems and repositories
