FileNet opens the gate on Acenza

With the announcement of Project Acenza, FileNet introduces applications that are said to improve a company's competitive edge by streamlining the processes associated with acquiring and servicing customers and business partners across the Web.

The first application is Acenza Claims, which supports the deployment of Web-enabled claims operations, linking customers, agents/brokers and employees in shared processes and content. FileNet explains that all Acenza applications will automate core front-office and back-office business processes and systems, externalize these business processes to the Web and create and manage associated electronic content employing the Panagon e-process and content management technology.

FileNet reports Acenza Claims is designed for businesses that require a comprehensive claims processing platform, such as the property and casualty insurance and product warranty markets. The company adds that the software facilitates rapid access to all claims in progress, status and associated information. The application provides auditing, logging, distribution and reporting templates that can be configured and updated to specific e-business requirements.

The Acenza Claims application offers these features:

  • Web-based customer service, new business and claims processing;

  • online access to documents, photos and other claims content;
  • work status publishing to customers and agents/brokers over the Web;

  • reduction and/or elimination of manual, paper-based tasks;

  • distribution of work to internal and external channels;

  • workload balancing; and

  • Productivity and measurement tracking of group/individual performance.
