FileNet employs Eloquent technology

FileNet recently announced that it is turning to technology to share product rollout information to partners, customers and sales professionals.

The integrated document management vendor will use Eloquent to streamline information dissemination associated with frequent product rollouts.

"Eloquent enables us to communicate the critical information required for successful product launches and early technical education programs to our partners, employees, and customers much more quickly and effectively than we could if we relied solely on a traditional meeting approach," said Linda Wallace, director of Worldwide Education for FileNet.

"Using Eloquent software and services, we have speeded up our product rollout process, reducing the time it takes to educate the sales force from six months to approximately two months-which means they are out in the field generating revenue far more quickly. As a bonus, we have decreased our product launch travel expenses by 25 percent using Eloquent and now reach a broader audience with a much more consistent message," she said.

Eloquent will provide two sales and training events per month. In this case, Eloquent will provide a service, using its products to deliver Web-based training. The service/tools provide a PowerPoint-like presentation along with video-like conferencing, at a time when convenient for the student
