Executive Technologies Submits Legal Text Retrieval System

A new version of its full-text retrieval system, designed specifically for the legal market, has been unveiled by Executive Technologies (Birmingham, AL). New to SearchExpress/Legal Version 2.0 is the capability to search a legal database over the Internet or intranet using a standard browser. Special features include the ability to stamp lines of text across pages that can't be OCR'ed by opposing counsel, and the ability to re-sequence the bates numbers of produced documents to hide the fact that there may be other documents than can be requested. Other features include fuzzy concept, proximity or and boolean searching and relevancy ranked retrieval. The product runs on Windows 95 and NT, and is available for $5,995.
