Eastman Software and KPMG to Target Verticals
Banking, insurance, financial services and government agencies are the targets of a new alliance between Eastman Software (Billerica, MA) and KPMG Consulting (New York). The two will combine KPMG's consulting and Eastman Software's document management services to reach customers in the banking, insurance, and financial services markets. The alliance includes joint marketing and sales efforts in the federal government sector. "We are excited by this alliance and look forward to developing document management solutions with KPMG," said Eastman Software president Bob Weiler. The alliance creates a single reference point for providing tailored document management and consulting solutions to individual customers. "Eastman Software's proven technologies complement our Document Management practice in delivering to clients superior document management solutions," added Robin Lineberger, Principal-in-Charge of KPMG's Document Management practice.
