CDP Now Processing With Feith System

Commercial Data Processing (CDP), a Fairfield, NJ service bureau, has successfully integrated Feith

's (Fort Washington, PA) document database into its operations. CDP is using the Feith Document Database to process approximately 40,000 images a day for a large telecommunications company. CDP is also planning to expand the FDD system for all of its current and potential customers. "Since installing the Feith system, we've seen significant improvements in our daily operation," said CDP Project Manager Sean Connelly. "Our document image retrieval time has gone from hours down to mere seconds." The CDP installation is partially NT-based; COLD and an Oracle database run on separate NT servers while a legacy optical jukebox runs on an Intel Solaris server. "We'd made a significant investment in the original jukebox, and we liked that Feith had the technical know-how and smarts to integrate that legacy equipment," said Connelly.
