[24]7 acquires IntelliResponse

[24]7 has acquired IntelliResponse, a provider of digital self-service technology. Full terms of the all-cash acquisition were not disclosed.

[24]7 claims it is now the only company that combines big data, user experience design and a customer engagement platform across virtual agent, Web, chat, mobile, IVR, social and voice channels. It adds that the IntelliResponse acquisition is a natural complement to [24]7's data-driven, omni-channel approach to customer engagement. The combination of IntelliResponse with [24]7 is said to provide a suite of offerings designed to create a smooth, robust customer service solution.

The benefits are said to include:

  • higher self-service success rates,
  • greater customer satisfaction,
  • increased conversion rates through targeted chat,
  • improved insights across channels, and
  • decreased operational costs through qualification and deflection.
