Goold Health Systems selects BancTec

It's rare that we come across a user story from our home state of Maine. Here's a recent one. BancTec has signed a deal to provide an imaging system to Goold Health Systems, a service bureau for data entry, data processing, and data management. Goold, a current BancTec customer, will use the system to process 9,000 medical claims daily for the State of Maine, along with other forms processing functions. The system consists of a BancTec S-Series scanner, with OCR software and archiving capabilities.

Goold chose to install the system in order to add imaging capabilities to improve customer service, improve processing efficiencies, and make it easier to set up new applications in the future. "We fully expect BancTec's new solution to increase our overall processing capabilities and assist us in providing even more timely and efficient customer service," said Joe Bruno, president of Goold Health Systems. "This will go hand in hand with our on-line electronic technology and advance us into the next millennium."

BancTec appreciates the new business from its established user base.
