Coveo extends apps to mobile users

Coveo has unveiled mobile versions of its Knowledge 360 Solutions and Enterprise Search 2.0 platform via mobile smartphones and tablet PCs. The offering now supports BlackBerry OS 6.0, the iPhone, iPad and Android.

Coveo explains its new mobile solutions give field service and sales organizations access information on customers, cases, solutions, prospects, etc., from nearly any enterprise system—including e-mails and files from offline PCs—directly from their mobile devices.

The company also highlights the new apps’ ease of use, offering document quick views, business analytics and guided navigation, which, it says, dynamically computes sums, averages, minimum and maximum values, numerical ranges, etc.
