Big data BI platform with Hadoop connector

InetSoft Technology has released a new version of Style Intelligence, its business intelligence platform. Topping the list of enhancements to V. 11.5 is a new data source connector for the Apache Hive data warehouse system for Hadoop, enabling dashboards, visual analyses and data mashups to be easily executed, says InetSoft.

In addition to a new user interface, dashboard and visualization design-oriented features include: automatic resizing with browser window size and adding statistics-driven chart lines over data for things such as upper and lower bands, percentiles and confidence intervals. Among new capabilities for IT administrators are additional audit reports, greater control over administrative functions based on user, group and role, as well as the ability to enable even greater self-service for users, who can now schedule report and dashboard snapshot e-mailing on their own.
