Tom Beckman is the Principal Knowledge Scientist for AKS on the Air Force’s lessons learned project. His responsibilities include the primary conceptual design, knowledge engineering, and employing innovative technologies. Previously at IRS, Tom held positions as Portfolio Manager, Division CIO, Enterprise Architect, Systems Engineer, Business Reengineer, and AI Specialist. In addition, Mr. Beckman has significant experience in successfully developing and managing projects that rely on innovative disciplines, methods, and technologies. As adjunct associate professorial lecturer at The George Washington University, Tom has developed and taught graduate courses in KM, Knowledge Elicitation, Artificial Intelligence, Expert Systems, Innovative IT, Business Reengineering, and MIS.
