William Amurgis (pronounced uh-MUR-jis) is the manager of intranet strategy at American Electric Power, based in Columbus, Ohio. The company's intranet was recognized as one of the 10 best in the world by the Nielsen Norman Group in 2007, and its Ideas system received an Intranet Innovation Award in 2009.
Amurgis has a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics, and a Master of Arts degree in Education, both from Ohio State University.
