Michael J. Novak is a retired U.S. Naval Officer and a retired U.S. Federal Employee. He is currently Executive Director of the Maryland Performance Excellence Awards Program, an organizational performance excellence recognition program based on the national Baldrige Performance Excellence Program. He lectures and publishes extensively on the interrelationships among Knowledge Management, Enterprise Architecture, and Organizational Performance. Mr. Novak is a past Co-Chair of the Federal Knowledge Management Working Group and Past President of the DC Area Chapter fo the Knowledge Management Professional Society.
