Mr. João Fontoura graduated in Mechanical Engineering and obtained his M.Sc. degree in Applied Thermodynamics at PUC-Catholic University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
He joined Promon upon his graduation in 1986 and since then worked in several Engineering Design and EPC jobs, both in Brazil and abroad.
Since 2005 he has been the Head of the Thermal Power Discipline, and recently took the responsibility for developing in-house capabilities for offshore and subsea engineering.
