Andrew's approach as an innovation and collaboration specialist is built on his early days as an environmental scientist and commercial manager. Seeing the value of collaboration on complex projects, but also crucially, what stops people naturally collaborating, has shaped his approach to bringing out innovation in teams and individuals across organisational and cultural boundaries.
From managing the roll-out of knowledge management tools globally to advising a major investment bank on ‘how to collaborate', Andrew has been fortunate to work on some amazing projects. His creative streak led to him accepting a challenge to 'make us more innovative', as Innovation Manager for a global engineering firm.
The question of where to find the starting point of innovation is what ultimately led Andrew to co-establish Innosis with Alister Webb. Outside of work, Andrew is passionate about the outdoors, whether through cycling, hiking, photography or just quietly appreciating it with a coffee.
