Alexander Tanchoco has worked in the information technology field for 34 years with the last 30 years with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). Alex is the Manager of Advanced Technologies. During his 30 years at MSK, Alex has been instrumental in the introduction, deployment, administration and support of many pivotal technologies which included DB2, networking PCs, file and print servers, mail servers, Active Directory, SQL Servers, Sharepoint, blade and virtual servers, social media, mobile apps, MediaWiki and more recently, Tableau. All these technologies are still in place and has helped and continue to help transform processes at MSK. Alex earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science from Brooklyn College and is a SIM RLF alumni. He lives in Old Tappan, NJ and enjoys his maker-space, bicycling, canoeing and more recently with his children grown up, riding motorcycles.
