Patrick Lambe is the author of the widely-praised book "Organising Knowledge: Taxonomies, Knowledge and Organisational Effectiveness" (Oxford: 2007). Based in Singapore, he is the founder of knowledge management research and consulting firm Straits Knowledge, two-term past President of the Information and Knowledge Management Society, an Adjunct Professor at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Visiting Professor at Bangkok University and a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Knowledge Management. His paper on "The Unacknowledged Parentage of Knowledge Management" won an Emerald Literati award in 2012. Patrick was educated at Oxford, did his Master's in Librarianship and Information Studies at the University of London, and has worked for the past 30 years in librarianship, learning and development, elearning and knowledge management.
