Marcelo Pereira Melo is the KM Coordinator for the Petrobras Corporate Knowledge Management Department. He has worked for Petrobras for more than 20 years, mainly leading the implementation of knowledge based processes. He served in several areas including IT and Distance Learning at the Petrobras University. He also coordinated Competitive Intelligence and Innovation Programs at the Petrobras Research Center from 2003 to 2007. He is mechanical engineer with a Master Degree in IT and a MBA in Strategic Knowledge Management and Competitive Intelligence.
