Jim is the practice leader of APQC’s Knowledge Management practice. His recent and current clients have included global organizations developing their enterprise knowledge management strategies. In addition to KM strategy, Jim’s background in process improvement has resulted in significant cost and time recovery for organizations where he has conducted process mapping and re-engineering projects. Prior to joining APQC, Jim was a global knowledge manager at Capgemini Ernst & Young, where he led the development of an integrated knowledge management system after the merger of two global management consulting firms. Jim was also a senior member of the Ernst & Young Center for Business Knowledge, an internationally recognized leader in the application of knowledge management. Jim is currently pursuing a PhD in Knowledge Management and holds certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. He has spoken at numerous national and international conferences on project management and knowledge management. Jim has received an Honored Faculty award from the University of Phoenix, where he teaches graduate courses in project management, operations management, quality management, and statistics.
