Doug Phair is a Technology Evangelist for The MITRE Corporation, focused on providing novel business solutions in the areas of collaboration, anticipatory knowledge delivery and agile work environments. He runs the “Collaborative Systems Lab” at MITRE which is focused on providing tools and methods to support future work models in which staff collaborate, share and build knowledge. He has a particular interest in the successful transition of tools and technologies from the consumer market to enterprise IT and government. In addition, Doug runs a large internship program at MITRE and sponsors several partnerships with many leading universities. His work in this area provides insight into the work practices of the “Next Gens” to inform emerging IT environments and services. Doug holds a Master of Computer Science from Boston University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Merrimack College.
