Knowledge Management Lead CCP
Shell Canada

I am the Knowledge Management Lead on the Carmon Creek Project in Shell Canada. Carmon Creek is a major project in the Heavy Oil portfolio. I am responsible for all aspects of KM on the project including tools, processes and communication. I developed the KM strategy and implementation plans for the project as well as a lesson learned implementation plan. I am also responsible for the capture, implementation and distribution of LL. I created a SP2010 site that is used for all KM, communication and knowledge sharing on the project. I use a number of processes for knowledge sharing and capture such as AARs, ROCK and learning events. Previously, I was a Knowledge Sharing Advisor in the Global KM Team for Projects and Technology based in The Netherlands, the team provided support to all Shell companies in terms of their KM/KS initiatives. I was global consultant for the Shell International Global Networks (SIGN), which consist of numerous online communities with a membership of over 40,000. I developed a robust behavioral change toolkit, including assessments and implementation templates to be used for knowledge sharing across all of Shell. I am also a certified Lead Facilitator for several Leadership courses offered by Shell Learning. I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Doctorate of Management in Organizational Leadership, with dissertation research focusing in the field of Knowledge Management. I have been with Shell for 13 years.
