As an IT Fellow and Chief Knowledge Architect for Raytheon Missile Systems, Kevin focuses on quick, efficient, large-scale information integration and knowledge sharing using semantic technology. Kevin has presented his work on BioBlitz with National Geographic and the National Park Service at South by Southwest Interactive and the Semantic Technology Conference.



 



Prior to Raytheon, Kevin was the database architect and project manager of COPLINK, a National Institute of Justice-funded program that became a national model for law enforcement information analysis and sharing based on his dissertation work, which focused on data management in collaborative systems.  Kevin has proven software engineering expertise in successful executive management, project management, and project leadership roles. He was the VP of Engineering for an Internet-based customer relationship management company where he hired and led a 35-person team with full budget responsibility.



 



Kevin received his PhD and Master's degrees in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona.  His publications have appeared in IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, the International Journal of Man-Machine Studies, IEEE Expert, and Raytheon Technology Today.
