Line Holmung Andersen is a seasoned Project Lead with over 12 years of experience in knowledge management and organizational learning within the United Nations, having served both at UN Headquarters in New York and in various field missions.

Since 2023, she has led the Network for Uniformed Women Peacekeepers, an innovative pilot initiative under the UN Department of Peace Operations. This primarily virtual network connects uniformed women across UN peacekeeping missions, fostering peer support and helping the UN identify and address barriers to their participation.

Before her role as Network lead, Line Holmung Andersen played a pivotal role in enhancing knowledge management in UN Peacekeeping. Her contributions span supporting the UN-AU partnership, developing policies and digital tools, and leading major lessons-learned exercises—including documenting the UN’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Her field experience includes serving as Policy and Practice Officer in the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), where she focused on capturing good practices and operational insights to inform policy and improve mission effectiveness.
