She leads efforts to improve information access, searchability, and self-service content across a global nonprofit network. Her work centers on building intuitive user-driven taxonomies, streamlining digital knowledge systems, optimizing search engine technology, and helping users quickly find the answers they need-whether they're staff, affiliates, or community partners. Kristen's work standardized the training process for content creators, established a content governance model the network's knowledge base, implemented an enterprise-wide taxonomy across multiple platforms and improved data analytics for a deeper understanding and insight into user behaviors.

Kristen received her Master of Social Work with a specialty in nonprofit management, policy, and administration in 2020 from Virginia Commonwealth University. Kristen's work at United Way Worldwide blends her social work and program management background with her love of problem solving, information architecture, and knowledge management.
