Neesham works in operational knowledge sharing within the international development domain. Her focus is the design and implementation of strategies & frameworks to surface and apply technical operational knowledge. Currently she works in knowledge & learning within the International Finance Corporation, the private sector sister institution to the World Bank.

Specifically, she focuses on applying change management approaches to increase organizational knowledge flow, facilitating institutional knowledge identification/capture/retention, and increasing the reuse of institutional knowledge for organizational efficiency and maximum client impact. 

She is experienced in the design and delivery of multi-stakeholder engagements (with a focus on South to South knowledge sharing) between governments, NGO, private sector, and international organizations.

Neesham works extensively with colleagues across the international development and IFI community and co-founded the World Bank Group Knowledge Management & Learning Community of Practice. 

Her operational & technical policy experience includes access to finance, banking regulation, commercial bank downscaling, and natural disaster risk mitigation. She holds an MSc in Agricultural, Environmental, and Development Economics and a BA in International Studies and Economics from The Ohio State University. She lives in Bethesda, MD with her husband, 9-year-old daughter, and surprisingly tall foxhound.
