Bruno Sophia is the Director of Knowledge Management for Global Program Management at AECOM, where he helps teams around the world connect with the knowledge they need to deliver some of the most complex infrastructure programs on the planet.

Originally trained as an Architect and Urban Planner, Bruno has more than 15 years of experience leading major real estate and infrastructure programs. With a post-graduate degree in Business Administration and several specializations in Project and Program Management, he joined AECOM in 2019 as a Program Manager for UK infrastructure programs.

Driven by a passion for learning, teaching, and collaboration, Bruno became an outspoken advocate for breaking down silos and improving how teams share and apply knowledge. What began as a personal frustration with poor knowledge sharing evolved into a professional mission — and ultimately, into the creation of his current role leading knowledge management across AECOM’s global program management practice.

Today, Bruno champions a culture of openness and connectedness, helping teams turn experience into shared intelligence that drives better outcomes. He believes that effective knowledge management isn’t just about tools or systems, but about people — how they work, learn, and grow together.
