President & CEO
Knoco International
Cory Cannon serves as President and CEO of Knoco International, where he supports organizations in building practical, scalable knowledge management capabilities, strengthening governance, and integrating KM with advanced analytics and AI.
A retired U.S. military veteran with over 21 years of service in the United States Marine Corps and U.S. Army, Cory has led and supported knowledge, information, and decision-support efforts in both garrison and deployed contexts, including Iraq, Kuwait, and South Korea. His work is shaped by the realities of complex operations where time, risk, and uncertainty demand disciplined knowledge flow across tactical, operational, and strategic echelons.
Cory’s approach bridges KM, data management, and applied AI. He emphasizes that AI performance and organizational confidence depend on the quality, traceability, and governance of the underlying knowledge base, including clear ownership, validation, and lifecycle controls. He is the developer of the Organizational Knowledge Loop model, a practical framework that connects data integrity and authentication to insight and action across multiple organizational layers.
Cory is a PhD candidate at Bangkok University in Knowledge and Innovation Management and has written on knowledge management in combined and joint environments. He also contributes to workforce development through teaching and professional training, helping leaders and practitioners translate KM theory into operational capability.
