Picture of Cristian YoungCristian is the Associate Vice President of Insights and Knowledge Management at AT&T. He is responsible for establishing and scaling a new Insights Management capability for AT&T Marketers that enables the efficient storage and application of marketing insights across business units, products, and channels.

Prior to joining AT&T, Cristian oversaw knowledge management at BCG Digital Ventures, the startup incubator arm of the Boston Consulting Group. He grew a globally distributed team, oversaw the build of an internally developed KM platform, and published key statistics for business development and executive management. Before his five years at BCG, Cristian ran the Knowledge Management function at Siegel+Gale, a global branding firm based in New York. There, he introduced various collaboration technologies and advised leadership on effective strategies for improved cross-functional and cross-geographic collaboration. He strongly believes organizations and the people who compose them can work better through the strategic application of technology and process. But what matters most in any knowledge management practice is a relentless dedication to user-centered technology and process design.

Cristian also designed digital marketing analytics solutions for Fortune 100 companies in financial services, consumer goods, and telecom while at SapientNitro in NYC. He created solution design reference specs for Adobe Analytics implementation projects, conducted end-user research interviews, built executive dashboards and automated reports. Cristian started his career in the field of IT project management on data migration and CRM projects with The Boeing Company in Seattle and the International Institute for Learning in Madrid.

Cristian has also served as an adjunct faculty member for two masters degree programs at Columbia University, Applied Analytics and Information & Knowledge Strategy. He is a strong proponent of social activism, most recently serving as Los Angeles President of Out in Tech. Cristian receivd his M.S. in Information and Knowledge Strategy from Columbia University and his B.S in Information Systems and B.A. in Hispanic Studies from Carnegie Mellon University. Cristian lives in Los Angeles, CA with his husband and two wheaten terriers, Xander and Pretzel.
