Picture of Sandra MoffettSandra Moffett is a Professor of Business Analytics at Ulster University, where she has held several senior leadership roles, including Interim Pro Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean of the Ulster University Business School and Head of the Department of Global Business and Enterprise. A research‑active academic within the Business and Management Research Institute, she has contributed to multiple RAE/REF submissions and authored more than 120 publications. Her work spans knowledge management, business intelligence, digitalisation, and organisational performance, supported by significant internal and external funding from bodies such as CIMA, the British Council, SAMS, and the Royal Society.

Her research leadership includes major international projects such as Atlantic Futures and NW DEPTH alongside extensive industry collaboration through technology transfer Innovation Boost and consultancy projects across the UK and Ireland. She has supervised seven PhD students to completion and continues to mentor doctoral researchers across topics including innovation ecosystems digitalisation and analytics.

With 25 years of teaching experience Sandra is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a committed advocate of research‑led innovative pedagogy. She has designed and directed multiple undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and served as an external examiner for several UK and international universities.

Her civic and enterprise work includes leading large‑scale widening‑access initiatives such as the TIME project and building long‑standing partnerships with schools industry and community organisations. A recognised academic leader she has contributed extensively to curriculum development quality assurance and Athena SWAN initiatives reflecting her commitment to excellence inclusion and impact.
