Dr. Dan Asher works at the intersection of tacit knowledge extraction, organizational knowledge strategy, and AI-ready knowledge architecture. He argues that most enterprise AI initiatives underperform not because of model quality, but because the deep expert knowledge they depend on was never properly captured or structured in the first place.

He holds a doctorate from the University of Haifa and has published peer-reviewed research on tacit knowledge frameworks in *The Learning Organization* (Emerald Publishing). He previously served as Head of Knowledge and Learning Innovation at a national-level organization within the Israeli Prime Minister's Office portfolio, where he shaped organizational KM strategy across knowledge architecture, expert knowledge capture, and digital transformation in high-stakes environments.

His applied fieldwork spans over 100 experts across engineering, chemical processes, skilled trades, senior management, and critical operational domains — one of the broadest applied tacit knowledge extraction datasets of its kind.

Since 2021, he leads The Tacit Dimension, a boutique advisory practice working with complex organizations in pharma, engineering, government, aerospace and regulated industries on three interconnected challenges: capturing critical expert knowledge before it is lost, embedding it in ways organizations can actually use, and structuring it as a foundation for generative AI systems.
