Picture of Amy GreirAmy Greir is a Senior Principal Digital Consultant with global engineering consultancy Mott MacDonald, specialising in knowledge management, digital transformation, and information governance. With over 15 years’ experience, Amy supports asset owners and complex programmes to better understand, govern, and exploit their knowledge and information as strategic assets.

Amy’s work sits at the intersection of knowledge management and digital transformation. She is particularly interested in how clear governance structured information and strong knowledge practices underpin effective digital delivery - especially in highly regulated and safety critical environments. Her experience spans the nuclear energy transport property management and health sectors where she has helped organisations move from fragmented information practices to more integrated lifecycle focused approaches.

Most recently Amy has led knowledge and information management capability on a major UK nuclear project. In this role she has supported the client in defining roles capabilities and operating models to mature the governance of asset information. This has included setting direction and standards integrating knowledge management principles with digital and data initiatives and supporting cultural change to ensure information is trusted usable and embedded in day to day decision making.

Originally trained as an archivist and historian Amy brings a strong appreciation of organisational memory context and continuity alongside modern digital and data driven approaches. She is passionate about helping organisations recognise that digital transformation is not only about technology but about people behaviours and how knowledge flows across teams disciplines and the asset lifecycle.
