Easing invoices

Captiva Software (www.captivasoftware.com) has released a more robust version of its automated invoice capture offering. InputAccel for Invoices 2.0 has been enhanced to include Captiva's Dispatcher 4.0 software, which, the company reports, includes self-learning templates for high-volume vendors, an improved reject repair operator interface and the automated matching of invoice line item details to purchase orders so that only exceptions are presented to operators. Version 2.0 also eliminates the need for document separator sheets.

Captiva further explains InputAccel for Invoices is a fully customizable invoice capture solution that reduces the amount of manual intervention typically required to process invoices. It transforms a paper invoice into a digital image from which invoice data is automatically extracted, validated and delivered into ECM, ERP, accounts payable and other back-end systems.
