Spectra Logic and ATL Expand Agreement

Spectra Logic (Boulder, CO) and ATL Products

(Anaheim, CA) have expanded their business partnership to include ATL's 7100 series of automated tape libraries and Spectra Logic's Alexandria database backup/recovery software. ATL's 7100 libraries are designed for high-availability data storage for major OEMs, providing storage capacity of 3.5 GB. Alexandria has a maximum backup rate of 1.5 terabytes per hour. Spectra Logic chairman and CEO Nathan Thompson sees a strong partnership with ATL for future product developments. "Alexandria coupled with the 7100 delivers performance, reliability and investment protection for today's demanding customers," he said.
