Get into collaboration

Designed to meet the needs of groups of 10 to 200 people, QuickBase for Corporate Workgroups from Intuit gives users access to their own centralized databases to collaborate on such tasks as tracking sales prospects, managing projects, sharing customer service information, etc.

The company claims the new service can help workgroups dramatically improve communication and productivity, as well as reduce project administration or customer service costs by up to 50%.

Intuit adds that the new offering enables users to do multiple things like track projects among cross-functional teams, share customer information between sales and service departments in the company and manage issue lists between distributed team members inside and outside the company. Users can easily share their databases and have complete control over who can view, modify or add information to it.

New features include:

  • consolidated workgroup account, giving everyone on the team the ability to create databases under one billing account;

  • greater capacity with database size up to 10 MB;

  • room to grow with the number of databases, database storage capacity and users (additional fees apply);

  • more control over users' accessibility to databases, either by individual or role within the workgroup;

  • extended permissions, allowing for additional sharing rules within the team;

  • enhanced workflow features designed to keep members informed and up-to-date;

  • workgroup administration capabilities, including adding new members, resetting passwords and deactivating members; and

  • usage monitoring and reporting.
