Informix (Menlo Park, CA) has named Leslie Denend to its board of directors. Denend is president of Network Associates (Santa Clara, CA), having served as CEO of Network General (Menlo Park), which joined with McAfee (Santa Clara) to create Network Associates in October. Denend was also executive VP at 3Com (Santa Clara) and served on President Carter's National Security Council. "I'm thrilled to have his help and support as we continue building the new Informix," said chairman and CEO Bob Finocchio.
