nStor Unveils RAID GUI for Sun

A Sun interface for its CR8e RAID system and Ultra SCSI-to-SCSI controller has been announced by nStor (Lake Mary, FL). The AdminiStor UNIX Utilities for Sun software utility provides a GUI for installing, configuring and monitoring RAID systems in a Solaris or Sun OS environment. The utility is available as an add-on option to nStor's AdminiStor storage management software package. The utility is designed to address the often difficult and time consuming problems that arise when installing RAID systems in the UNIX environment, according to Steven Paulhus, nStor's director of marketing. The AdminiStor UNIX Utilities for Sun is available immediately with a suggested end user price of $600.
